FM 200 is a Hydrofluorocarbon installed in over 50,000 systems worldwide. It fights fires through a combination of chemical and physical mechanisms and is safe for use in occupied areas.
FM200 requires minimal floor storage space due to its physical properties and efficient extinguishing capabilities. FM200 contains no Bromine or Chlorine and therefore has zero Ozone Depleting Potential.

  • Zero ozone depleting potential
  • Low atmosphere lifetime (31-42 years)
  • Safe for use in occupied areas
  • Low design concentration
  • Stored as a liquid-compact storage
  • Fast extinguishing action

In a closed space almost all fires are extinguished in less than 60 seconds when the oxygen concentration falls below 15%. The Argonite fire extinguishing system based on a mixture of 50% Argon and 50% Nitrogen, reduces the oxygen concentration to 12.5% a level acceptable to human exposure over short periods thus eliminating the fire quickly and effectively without affecting personnel.

  • Fast acting against nearly all fires
  • Environmentally neutral-zero ODP, zero GWP
  • Low installation and maintenance costs
  • No post-fire residues or damage to protected equipment
  • Electrical non-conductive
  • Safe for occupied areas
  • Can be integrated with existing detection and alarm systems
  • Automatic or manual release

Carbon Dioxide has been used for the fire extinguishing over 50 years and has truly earned the mantle of tried and tested. In the hands of experienced designers and application engineers, it is a safe and efficient fire extinguishant, it extinguishes the fire by reducing the oxygen to a level that does not support combustion. Systems are designed to reduce the oxygen levels by varying the amount of carbon dioxide required depending on the risk. The gas is stored in cylinders os suitable capacity to suit the application the most popular size being the 67ltr storing 45kgs of gas which can be manfold together either as single or double banked systems designed to discharge into the risk.

  • Excellent environmental characteristics
  • Electrically non conductive
  • Can be used in occupied areas
  • Engineered modular and shared systems
  • No fire breakdown products
