Carbon Dioxide
has been used for the fire extinguishing over 50 years and has truly earned
the mantle of tried and tested. In the hands of experienced designers
and application engineers, it is a safe and efficient fire extinguishant,
it extinguishes the fire by reducing the oxygen to a level that does not
support combustion. Systems are designed to reduce the oxygen levels by
varying the amount of carbon dioxide required depending on the risk. The
gas is stored in cylinders os suitable capacity to suit the application
the most popular size being the 67ltr storing 45kgs of gas which can be
manfold together either as single or double banked systems designed to
discharge into the risk.
